The Texan to Anchor New 69-Acre Lindale Crossing Mixed-Use Development

A transformative new project is set to reshape the I-20/Lindale corridor with the Lindale Crossing development, a massive 69-acre mixed-use project featuring a variety of residential, commercial, and service-oriented spaces.

At the heart of this ambitious project is The Texan, a popular gas station and convenience store chain based in Yorktown, Texas. This will be The Texan’s first East Texas location, covering 22,000 square feet and offering an array of travel-friendly amenities, including made-to-order food, snacks, unique gifts, and a full-service travel center designed to accommodate both local commuters and long-distance travelers on I-20.

In addition to The Texan, Lindale Crossing will house a diverse mix of businesses, including a hotel, retail outlets, restaurants, multi-family housing units, office spaces, and mini-storage facilities. The development is also part of a broader infrastructure improvement initiative in the I-20/Lindale corridor, which includes new frontage roads and road-widening projects on Harvey Road.

Construction is expected to begin in late 2024, with an anticipated opening in 2025. However, as of late 2024, there have been no visible signs of progress on-site.
